Advisory tool: ‘Upgrading automatic wood-burning heating systems’
The refurbishment of the plant presents a unique opportunity to further strengthen the general acceptance of wood energy. The advisory tool helps to take the following points into account:
- Minimisation of odour and noise emissions
- Low upkeep and maintenance costs
- Seamless interface between the combustion system and the wood fuel
- easy ash removal, in line with occupational health and safety requirements
- safe and trouble-free operation - high annual efficiency (thanks to an
optimised design of the combustion system’s thermal output)

- adaptation of contracts (heat supply contracts, etc.) to
currently recognised standards
